Newborns come out of the womb in the summer
After their conception 2 seasons prior
Had them warm and moist away from the earth
They’re born to a hot world whether or not
The temperature is felt immediately or through nature
Mothers get ready to nurture boys and girls into men and women
Who will have the opportunity to observe and absorb the sun
Also known as long days short nights with lots of hydration
To run lapse around memories of cookouts, barbecues, beaches, pools, and weddings
With all of the different types of ice cream you can imagine slowly melting
Until the heat goes away for another summer to come and go again…
