The irony of an isolated event magnified to a modern-day lynching phenomenon in less than 24 hours.

We went from “Black Power” to “Black Lives Matter.”

History has revealed its bad and ugly side too many times.

Thus, it is not all good, especially in “brown” and “black” neighborhoods.

There is a disproportionate chance that those who protect & serve will have a life to death encounter with civilians of melanin.

We all have skin, and some are thicker than others and some are darker than others.

If we are kin, then complexion does not matter.

The heart, mind, and soul need not be abused, battered, or bruised like the body.

Genetically speaking, we are all somebodies’ offspring.

That is, Children of “Reconstruction & Integration” in the promise land of North America.

Justice for all and not a privileged percentage is the mantra to scream, shout, and sing out loud.

System is in need of demolition because what was built is overdue for renovation.

It is only a matter of time that true change shall come in positive abundance and we all look forward to that soon.

Four centuries are more than enough years of dehumanization, especially since people of melanin were the  first to be born and raised on planet earth soil.

The first shall be last and last shall be first.

What goes around comes back around full circle.

The tables shall eventually turn back to humanity and put shame to brutality in the court of human rights.

It is great to see society unite on the reality that “Black Lives Matter.”

Unfortunately, it took tragedy for us to see massive social engagement as a symbolical sign of solidarity for a great cause.

Salute and round-of-applause to all involved in the movement for the betterment of humanity!
